It works with the 4 AA batteries. In order to switch on the camera you just have pull out the lens by pressing the button.
The lens of the camera has a focal range of 0.6 meters making it easier for the photographers to capture object at far distances. It also has an automatic flash function which functions quite well having the range of 0.6 to 2.7 meters.
The only disadvantage about this camera is its problematic holding. Due to its design, gripping becomes un-comfortable and finger consistently blocks the view from the view finder.
The shutter button is well-located on the front of camera making one-handed shooting easier.
Unloading and inserting film cartridges are really simple and trouble free. To insert, open the back cover of the camera and slot in the film cartridge into the cartridge compartment.

This camera should not be considered a digital camera. Features like LCD, SD card slot, zoom facility, and lens focus which are essential components are not present in this camera. This camera is priced at $85 which is quite reasonable.
Performance:
The performance of Intax Mini 7S is not at all satisfactory. Its not suitable for a professional photographer due to its low image quality. In other words, its image quality does not qualify this camera for professional use. The output of close up shots is blurred, unclear and vague.
Only images taken from a 4 to 20 feet distance produce the best results. Prefer taking medium range shots from this camera.
Color reproduction is not at all disappointing for an instant camera. It produced true and bright colors. It also produces good quality images in dim light.
The size of the image is very handy and could easily be carried in your wallet. The actual picture measures around 2-1/2 x 1-13/16 inches, and the full photo along with borders measures around 3-3/8 x 2-1/2 inches.
